As a sense of responsibility toward animal rights and as one of its core principles, Vim Foundation, in partnership with Pako Organization and iQ company, carried out the TNR project to control the number of stray dogs and vaccinate them in an animal-friendly and effective manner.
After four months of continuous work on the project, endeavoring to control the number of stray dogs and vaccinating them against diseases, 100 stray dogs were sterilized in Sulaymaniyah. They were also vaccinated against the diseases that can be transmitted from them to human beings. Then they were marked to be identified.
In the project, 65 female dogs and 35 male dogs underwent surgery and were sterilized by a number of doctors and volunteers.
