The Hydroponic System project, a joint effort between Vim Foundation and the University of Sulaimani, is currently in progress. Hydroponics, a cutting-edge method of cultivating plants in water without soil, is at the heart of this initiative.
This innovative system offers the potential to reduce water usage by up to 90% and allows for vertical planting, maximizing yield while minimizing space requirements.
The project aims to establish an educational and research center for students and farmers, providing them with hands-on experience and valuable insights. Additionally, the system will serve the university’s dormitories, offering fresh produce and practical learning opportunities.
