The TNR project for 500 stray dogs has officially begun in Sulaymaniyah. On the first day, the medical team successfully prepared for surgery and completed the first dog’s operation and vaccination. This five-month project is a collaboration between Vim Foundation, the Sulaymaniyah Municipality, and the Sulaymaniyah Veterinary Directorate.
The TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) project aims to control the growing stray dog population on the city’s streets and protect public health. This animal welfare initiative involves capturing, sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning stray dogs to their natural environment
